To
get use the Internet you must be connected to the Internet.
As an Internet service provider SCR Online provides this "pathway"
to the Internet. But just signing up for your account does
not automatically establish your connection. You must setup
a dialer on your system. This document will offer instructions
for setting up an SCR Online dialer on your system. To see
a list of our new dial up numbers, refer to our Dial-up
Numbers List or use our new Call
Finder Tool! |

| 1. Click
Start then Control Panel then Network & Internet Connections. |

| 2. Click
on Set up or change internet connection, an Internet Properties
window will come up |

3.
Click Add then click the bubble next to Dial Up to private
network. A wizard will come up, click next then enter the
phone number (click
here for our list of dial-up numbers)
then click next, enter the name of the dialer, SCR Online
then click finish. |
| 4. SCR
Online Settings window will automatically come up. Click on
the Properties button. |

Click on the Alternates button (refer
to our numbers list again) then click
Add and enter the alternative number you would like to us.
Then click OK. Please note that this step is optional. |

6. You
are now back at the SCR Online Settings window. Now type your
Username and Password that was sent to you via email or given
to you at the time of your account set up. Then click OK.

| 7. Now
you are back at the Internet Properties window. Click OK. |
| 8. Back
at the Networking Connections, look half way down the page where
it says Pick a Control Panel Icon. Click on Network Connections
Icon and find the SCR Online Dial Up Icon. Right click on the
Icon and select Create Shortcut. |

| 9. A small
window will come up saying "Windows cannot create a shortcut
here. Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?"
Click Yes. |

| 10. Close
the Control Panel, you should now be back at your Desktop with
the new SCR Online Dialer Icon. Double click on the Icon and
hit connect. |

The
dialer will connect, verify the username and password and
then the window will disappear and a new icon will appear
in your task tray with a bubble saying you are connected to
SCR Online. |

| NOTE:
You may be prompted to sign up for a .NET Passport. This is
not necessary nor required for you to do. Click the x to close
the window. |
